4 Weekends, 8 three hours classes, all-level on-camera acting learning for Teens 13-18: Every student receives a personal showreel directed and produced by VIP.

At the end of the class, the students’ work is celebrated in a screening open to family and friends. VIP will also invite industry agents, managers, and producers seeking talent for up-and-coming film and TV projects.

Learn confidence on camera from award-winning film producer/director Tony Shyu and acting teacher Danielle Heaton.

VIP team will teach you all the techniques you need for on-camera acting, interviewing, speaking, mc, and the importance of representation in the media in this age of multi-media, social-media world. Also understand what the director needs from you, how to work with producers, gain confidence.

VIP is a state of mind. Everyone should feel like a VIP with confidence. In a world of overexposure to social media and youtube, it's easy for teens to get influenced by influencers and gaming stars and in the process, lose their self-identity. We at VIP center believe that it's essential for teens to learn about themselves through self-discovery. Acting is a great way for self-discovery and overcomes one's fear. One must feel like his/her own hero, a VIP, and overcome one's obstacles.

Through Acting On-Camera Workshop, the student will learn how to explore their fear and overcome it. Gain confidence. In the process, they will discover their true self and their self-identity. By understanding themselves and having confidence, teens will less likely be influenced by social pressure. They have all been in front of Zoom far too long. An Acting workshop will be a great way for them to ease into socializing and interacting with others in person.

Throughout the workshop, students will work with the director Tony and acting teacher Danielle on their on-camera acting craft.

At the end of the workshop, the VIP team will personally produce a five-minute showcase reel custom-made just for the student. Your own portfolio showreel that presents a uniquely you.

It will be a great learning experience and a great portfolio for students' future resumes.

Students are immersed in an intensive, professional educational experience, combining fun, experiential, interactive classes with direct, hands-on acting in front of the camera.

We believe in building a strong foundation in the craft of acting. Students get the opportunity to perform what they learn on camera.

VIP Acting provides a safe, focused environment where students are alternately pushed and encouraged to be confident in front of the camera.  Learn about the audition and casting process in the industry.

ACTING FOR FILM

Students learn the basics of film acting and are assigned scenes, which are then worked on in front of the camera. Students will receive an edited version of their scene at the end of their program as part of the five minutes showreel.
